Royal Marine Commando Adam Robert Brown was born in Yateley, Hampshire, England UK on 25th February 1985. On the 1st August 2010 he was tragically killed in action whilst serving in Afghanistan, he was just 25 years old.

One of Adam’s dreams was to own a beach hut at Mudeford near Christchurch where he spent many a childhood holiday. In his words “It is a very special place”. We have now started a fundraising campaign to purchase a beach hut so that we can fulfil his dream. “Adam’s Hoofing Hut” will be an extraordinary memorial to an extraordinary young man and will be used by Marines families and friends in need of a quiet place to relax and reflect. Adam enriched the lives of those he came in contact with and we know this hut will do the same. We are truly grateful for any donations and support you can give and thereby helping us make Adam’s dream become a reality.

Animals Asia

Animals Asia is devoted to ending the barbaric practice of bear bile farming and improving the welfare of animals in China and Vietnam. We promote compassion and respect for all animals and work to bring about long-term change through education programmes and negotiation with the relevant authorities and government. The Animals Asia team has been rescuing bears since 1994 and is the only organisation with a bear sanctuary in China. The Animal Cruelty Investigation Group (ACIG) was set up in June 1989 with the aim of acquiring the hard evidence of the cruel abuse of our fellow creatures in order to curtail such abuse. The ACIG exists to raise funds for investigation work and then to promote the results of that work. ACIG investigators strive to expose all forms of cruelty to animals. They aim to gather, by any lawful means, the still images, video film, and documentary records that will expose the truth to the public.

Care For The Wild

Ferret Rescue Surrey is run by an experienced, dedicated couple who have been rescuing ferrets for the past 12+ years. German Shepherd Rescue

German Shepherd Rescue South

We are a small registered charity that rescue and re-home unwanted, abused and stray German Shepherd Dogs throughout the UK.

The rescue is a non-profit organisation and is run entirely by unpaid volunteers, we rely on donations from sponsors and the general public to keep the rescue running. Our aim is to keep dogs in their own home, if possible, until a suitable new home is found or to place a dog in a foster home. Purple Button Crafts

I am currently inspired by everything; from tiny pieces of glass that become flames for a candle to huge pieces that will become garden suncatchers. Paper, material, embroidery, jewellery making, everything finds a way into my craft room.

Most of the pieces I make find their way to support two of my local charities; the church I attend and a local children’s charity called Horse Rangers Association (Hampton Court), which a bit like scouts or guides, encourages children and teens to learn team working, leadership and all sorts of social skills, but with the added interest of horsepersonship and stable management.

Safe Haven For Donkeys

Safe Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land was set up in 2000 to help some of the thousands of donkeys facing overwork and cruelty in Israel and the Palestinian Territories every day. Simon Keeley

Simon Keeley is a Multi-Award winning Stone Carver with vast experience and skill. He is continuing his family link to stone carving, which was inspired by Lincoln Cathedral. His first training was as a Stone Mason at York college and later working as a Stone Mason for Bowman and Sons in Stamford, Lincolnshire. He went on to train as a Stone Carver at the London City and Guilds Art School, dealing predominantly with historical/ornament carving.

His inter-relational and design skills were pushed to new limits on the MA Art in Architecture course, at the University of East London. This gave him the confidence to go on to teach stone carving, in art colleges and privately. He regularly takes on commissions and also produces free flowing sculptural carving for ecclesiastical, gallery, garden, public art spaces and private individuals.

Sue Collins Art

Sue’s work is currently printmaking with linoleum. Using a combination of photography and sketching, as well as drawing on her own personal experiences and memories, Sue creates images. Each work is signed and if one of a limited edition numbered by Sue.

“I love using colour and producing work that creates, or is reminiscent of, happy memories.” Sue also designs textiles and has sold to IKEA, TK Maxx and other large companies. Her work has also appeared on the BBC Drama series “Cuffs”.

Her work is on display at galleries in Lewes, Arundel, Tunbridge Wells.and Haywards Heath.

Surrey Wildlife Trust

Surrey Wildlife Trust (SWT) is the only organisation concerned solely with the conservation of all forms of wildlife in Surrey.

Surrey Wildlife Trust currently manages 82 sites, together covering almost 8,000ha, which is 5% of the land area of the county. We also work with many partners and other landowners to advise on land management for conservation, with particular emphasis on woodland, wetlands, and heathland.

We work with schools, communities and volunteers across Surrey to inform and involve people actively in nature. Over 15,000 children and young people now benefit annually from a wide variety of outdoor learning courses and activities. Each year our enthusiastic volunteers contribute over 10,000 ‘people days’ to our work.
