Surrey Police received their Wildlife Rocks Community Award for their amazing help with wildlife rescues. They are ‘wildlife heroes’ helping to rescue Swans, Deer and many other species from our motorways, A roads, towns and villages. They have also been very pro-active in prosecution cases helping both Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue and the RSPCA.
Surrey’s Traffic cops patrol one of the busiest areas in the country from the motorway networks and multi-lane A roads to quiet country lanes; the team are always busy, but they still keep vigilant for wildlife in trouble.
