Queen guitarist Brian May was joined by fellow rock royalty and a host of wildlife legends for his special celebration of animal welfare, Wildlife Rocks, at Guildford Cathedral.

Attracting a crowd of more than 3,000 people, the event saw the likes of Born Frees Will Travers, the acclaimed wildlife artist David Shepherd and RSPCA chief executive Gavin Grant speak about the challenges facing campaigners in the modern age.

Brian May also gave a rousing talk himself before performing a special version of Born Free with West End singer Kerry Ellis the first time they have sung the track in public. They went on to perform a short set including Queen favourite Crazy Little Thing Called Love and were also joined by singer Joe Brown.
